"This is the first CD Bengt and I made together. 3 Swedish cello sonatas of great and varied beauty. The Hägg sonata is my favourite, which in 1870 showed an inventive way of using the cello! Music by a 20 year-old, who lived to be 78. Poor mental health prevented him from writing more music of this kind. The Kallstenius, by the way, is Bengt's favourite!"
