When I heard this record for the first time I had to throw myself on the phone and talk to him; I think his playing is amazing! At this time, he had just recorded a CD with A S von Otter for DG ,as well as a CD for solo piano recorded in Stockholm.He then came to Bristol,recorded the toughest pieces of Smörgåsbord with me and then put the Magnard and Widor sonatas on the stand.
